BOUDIN BALLS

A delicious Cajun treat of balls of famous Boudin Sausage coated in bread crumbs and deep fried.

Eggs

Buttermilk

Vegetable Oil

Flour

Seasonings

Ingredients

Remove the Boudin meat from the casing and break up into a mixing bowl.

Roll up a ball of boudin meat, into a ball that's about 1-1/2" in size.

Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl and beat them with a fork.

Pour the buttermilk into the beaten eggs and stir to combine well.

In another mixing bowl add the breadcrumbs and seasonings and mix well with a whisk.

Line up your mixing bowls, flour first, then the egg wash and last the bread crumbs.

Then all that's left is to deep fry until golden brown - usually about 3-4 minutes.
