Instructions
In the bowl of your stand mixer, add the warm milk (105-115°).
Add the yeast and sugar and allow to bloom for 5 minutes.
Add vegetable oil, salt and 1 egg. Mix together with a fork.
Add the flour then using the dough hook attachment, mix (kneed) on low speed for 1 minute.
Turn up the speed to medium and kneed for 5 minutes.
Empty out the dough onto a floured surface and grease the bowl. Place the dough back into the freshly greased bowl and cover with a towel.
Allow to stand in a warm area, to rise, for 1-½ - 2 hours.
Remove the dough from the bowl (it should have doubled in size).
Separate the dough into roughly 12 balls. Place in a 9x13" baking dish, lightly greased.
Cover again and allow to rise for another 30 minutes.
Heat the oven to 350°F.
Once the dough balls have risen, brush with beaten egg then bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
While the dinner rolls are baking, mix the melted butter with the minced garlic and chopped parsley.
WHen the rolls have baked and are a nice golden brown, remove from the oven and brush with the garlic butter.
Notes
All purpose flour is good to use too. Bread flour is my absolute favorite to use when making bread though, because of the protein content.
