Cut the loaf using a bread knife, width ways, about 1" slices (but not all the way through - almost)
In a small bowl add the butter, minced garlic, salt and pepper, parsley and grated parmesan.
Using a spoon mix the ingredients well until you have an even butter.
Spoon the butter stuffing between each slice, evenly.
Wrap the entire loaf with foil. You may need to pieces to cover it completely. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
Rremove and open up the foil. Bake another 5 minutes, until crispy on the outside.
Notes
We like our garlic, this recipe does use a lot (but it is garlic bread right). If you don't like such a bold garlic flavor, use less cloves.Some people prefer to slice the bread in half lengthways (like a sandwich), stuff it that way. Then cut it after it has cooked. No way is better.... whichever you prefer.
