Apple Cranberry Salad
Delicious seasonal Apple Cranberry Salad, with pecans and bacon make this the perfect salad around Thanksgiving time. Perfect side dish, or maybe add leftover turkey to make this a meal unto itself.

Pecans
toasted

Red Onion
sliced

Apple
Cored and Sliced

Slices
Bacon
cooked

Cups
Spring Mix Lettuce
¼
Cup
Crumbled Feta Cheese
½
Cup
Dried Cranberries
2
Tablespoons
Toasted Sliced Almonds
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Add the pecans to a skillet and toast for a few minutes.
¼ Cup Pecans
Prepare the onions, apples and bacon (slicing/chopping)
¼ Each Red Onion,
1 Each Apple,
5 Slices Bacon
Add all the ingredients to a large salad bowl and combine well.
5 Cups Spring Mix Lettuce,
¼ Cup Crumbled Feta Cheese,
½ Cup Dried Cranberries,
2 Tablespoons Toasted Sliced Almonds
Add salad dressing (if using) and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes
* Use your leftover cranberry sauce to make a delicious cranberry vinaigrette. Balsamic vinegar or apple cider vinegar go well in this dressing.
