Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Add bananas, sweetened condensed milk, butter and vanilla to the bowl of a stand mixer.
3 Each Bananas, 1 (14 Ounce) Can Sweetened Condensed Milk, ½ Cup Unsalted Butter, 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Mix well, then add the cake mix. Mix on low speed for 1 minute.
1 (15 Ounce) Box Yellow Cake Mix
Spray (3) 8" round cake tins with Baker's Joy (or Pam with the flour in it). Fill each evenly with the cake mixture.
Bake in the oven or 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Remove from the oven, allow to cool for 2 minutes, then carefully turn out onto a cooling rack, to cool completely.
Once cooled, take 3 cups of cream and whip up until stiff peaks form.
4 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
In a large mixing bowl add the milk and pudding mix and stir with a whisk until combined. Mix in the whipped cream and allow to sit for 5 minutes.
2 (3.4 Ounce) Boxes Banana Cream Instant Pudding Mix, 2 Cups Milk
Then, spread some filling on top of the first layer of cake.
Add another layer of cake on top and repeat.
Spread the remaining filling on the outside of the cake.
Press chopped walnuts and chocolate chips into the sides of the cake.
1 Cup Walnuts, ½ Cup Chocolate Chips
Make the ganache. Take the remaining 1 cup of cream and heat in the microwave until just starting to bubble.
8 Ounces Semi-sweet Chocolate, 4 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
Pour over the grated chocolate and allow to sit for 1 minute.
Stir well with a spoon and allow to sit for 5 minutes, stir again, then pour over the top of the cake.
Set in the refrigerator to allow the ganache to set.
