A trifle is always pleasing to the eye yet really simple to make which is why I love to make them. They can be made out of anything - I usually make the traditional fruit/custard for the family but I pull this chocolate style recipe out whenever I have excess candy/chocolate. Easter and Halloween typically! Such a treat and a great use for all that candy about to go to waste!
