Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a large oven-safe ramekin in the middle.
Add the shredded parmesan and Gruyere in a large bowl, mix together.
8 Ounces Gruyere Cheese, 4 Ounces Parmesan Cheese
Open one can of the dough and unroll on a clean surface.
3 Each Crescent Roll Dough
Using a 2-½" Cookie cutter, cut circles out of the dough.
Fold the dough around the cheese and place on the baking sheet seam down. Repeat with all the dough forming a full and even circle around the ramekin dish.
Bake the whole thing with the ramekin still in the middle, for 16-18 minutes.
Add the butter to a small dish and melt in the microwave.
4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
Add the garlic and herbs to the butter. When you take out the bread wreath from the oven brush with this garlic and herb butter.
2 Cloves Garlic, ¼ teaspoon Fresh Parsley, Salt and Pepper to taste
Fill the ramekin with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Any off cuts you have from the crescent roll dough you could create little shapes - like the stars in my pictures.
