Wash and dice the tomato flesh (minus the seeds and juice), the red onion, cilantro, jalapenos then set aside.
5 Each Roma tomatoes, ½ Each Red Onion, 2 Tablespoons Fresh Cilantro, 1 Each Jalapeno Peppers
In a medium bowl, add the diced tomatoes, diced onion, chopped jalapeno, chopped cilantro, the juice of the lime and season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
1 Each Lime, ¼ teaspoon Salt, ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
Allow to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes, for the flavors to marry.
Serve with tortilla chips
Notes
If you like your salsa fresca (pico de gallo) spicier, include the seeds and membranes from the jalapeno with the rest of the ingredients. If not, discard.
