These Halloween spide web brownies are super cute and easy to make. Deliciously soft and chewy brownies decorated with a sweet icing piped on in the shape of a spider web.
Prepare the brownie mix per the packaging instructions.
1 (17.8 Ounce) Box Brownie Mix, 1 Each Large Eggs, ¼ Cup Water, ⅓ Cup Vegetable Oil
Bake 25-30 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
Cut the brownies into 9 equal size squares.
In a large mixing bowl add the stick of butter and beat until creamy.
½ Cup Unsalted Butter
Add powdered sugar, a cup at a time until incorporated.
3-½ Cups Powdered Sugar
Add the vanilla, salt and heavy cream and continue to mix until the consistency is right for adding to a piping bag and piping onto the brownies.
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract, ½ teaspoon Salt, 3 Tablespoons Heavy Whipping Cream
Add to a piping bag with your smallest piping tip (Wilton #1 if you have it). Make sure your icing is thin enough to pipe through it.
Starting in the center of each brownie pipe a spiral circle until the whole brownie has been filled then take a toothpick and draw a line from the center of the piped spiral to the edge. Repeat this a few times until you have a spider web formed.
