Barbecue Sauce

Ground Meat
venison or beef

Creole Seasoning
Instructions
Chop and cook 8 Slices of bacon.
8 Slices Bacon
Remove bacon and put to the side, allowing to drain.
Cook the trinity in the bacon grease, until translucent, then add the garlic.
1 Each Sweet Onion,
1 Each Green Bell Pepper,
1 Rib Celery,
3 Cloves Garlic
Add the pork and beans, sugar, wholegrain mustard and barbecue sauce and stir to combine.
4 (15-½ Ounce) Cans Pork and Beans,
1 Tablespoon Light Brown Sugar,
1 Tablespoon Wholegrain Mustard,
⅓ Cup Barbecue Sauce
Brown the ground beef (or venison) with Creole seasoning then add back to the beans along with the cooked bacon.
1 Pound Ground Meat,
1 Tablespoon Creole Seasoning
Stir to combine, cover and cook on low for 2 hours.
Notes
In the south this dish is traditionally served with potato salad.
