Use Them In New Recipes

My favorite solution is to use them up in another recipe to add delicious flavors. Following are some great ideas for an egg recipe:

Deviled Egg Potato Salad
This Cajun Potato Salad Recipe is a deliciously creamy, full of flavor version that is typically made to accompany a good bowl of gumbo. Whip this up using deviled eggs instead of the hard-boiled eggs called for in the recipe and you'll have a deviled egg potato salad.

How to store leftovers

You will only want to leave out your deviled eggs at room temperature for no more than 2 hours. After that, place back in the refrigerator in an Airtight container.

I like to keep the main stock of those traditional deviled eggs in the refrigerator then replenish the serving plate as they are eaten.

Contrary to what some believe you actually can freeze deviled eggs. They are good for about 3 weeks in the freezer so if you can't use the uneaten eggs right away perhaps freeze them until you find a need for them.

Perfect Pairings for Deviled Egg Recipes

  • Dijon Mustard
  • Hot Sauce
  • Black Pepper
  • Fresh Herbs
  • Cream Cheese
  • Sour Cream
  • Garlic Powder
  • Paprika
  • Pickles
  • Celery
