This easy Cajun butter sauce is the perfect dipping sauce for seafood and chicken wings. It has the perfect amount of spice and flavor to make anything really tasty! So much so you won't mind it dripping down your chin while you eat.
It's a favorite to eat with lobster tails and snow crab legs. Around here, we eat it with wings too! As well as boiled shrimp or any fresh seafood really.

- Step 2: Add all the seasonings (except the salt and pepper) and the flour to the melted butter, stir well and bring to a boil.

How to store leftovers
Once the butter has cooled it will thicken more. Almost become like a butter again. Pour the leftover sauce into an airtight container, or plastic bag to store in the refrigerator, for up to 1 week. For future use, just heat in the microwave for about 30-60 seconds.
Mel's kitchen notes
For best results I use a homemade Cajun seasoning (or Creole Seasoning). If you don't have this handy then using a brand like Tony Chacheres will be fine.
