Anyone who knows me knows I love monkey bread. This Garlic Monkey Bread recipe is perfection because it uses super simple ingredients and gives a yummy, cheesy, Italian flavored bread that is perfect for any occasion.
I usually have to have bread with any meal. It's my nemesis. I absolutely cannot live without it. Nor would I want to.
Cooking a pull apart style bread like this one is great because I'm usually always fighting with the kids about them hacking at loaves - when I make them.

- Step 2: Add the grated mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, basil and butter to the dough balls and give a good mix, carefully folding all the ingredients together.
- Step 3: Pour into a 9" bundt pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray and bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes until golden brown.

How to store leftovers
Once the bread has cooled completely it should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
You could also cover the serving plate with aluminum foil or plastic wrap if you don't have an available container.
Mel's kitchen notes
This type of bread pairs perfectly with a dipping sauce. Try a marinara sauce, or ranch. You could even try this Cajun Butter Sauce for something different.
Frequently asked questions: FAQs
I like to use a Bundt pan for this recipe, but any baking dish can be used. If you prefer to use something different, you could use a cake pan, and 8-inch baking pan, or even an oven-safe skillet. It is important to note that each pan may require adjusted baking times.
Feel free to increase or decrease the amount of the basil, garlic, or Italian seasoning in Italian Pull-Apart Bread to suit your personal taste preferences. The amount of butter and shredded cheese, however, should remain as the recipe instructs
