Due to the use of imitation crab and frozen shrimp this salad can be made year round.
I do love to use fresh shrimp when I can though, as I live on the coast. There's nothing better than freshly caught shrimp.

❤️ Why My Recipe
- Make my recipe in less than 10 minutes with easy items from the grocery store.
- It's so light and refreshing it makes a nice change to have this for lunch, or as an appetizer.
- I'm in the deep deep south, as south as you can get in Louisiana. If you haven't heard, the flavors and tastes around here are amazing and I impart that knowledge into every dish I create.

- Step 1: Bring a small pot of water to boil on your stove. Add the salt then squeeze two halves of a lemon into the water and drop them in. Add the shrimp and boil for 2-3 minutes.
- Step 2: Remove the shrimp from the boiling water and place in an ice bath.
- Step 3: Add to a bowl with the remaining ingredients.
- Step 4: Stir together and serve with your favorite crackers, bread etc.
Hint: it's not always easy to find fresh dill for us. If you are in a bind use the dried type like I did for this particular time.

💡 Tips
Expert Tip: Don't turn up your nose at the thought of imitation crab. Did you know it's actually made out of fish? It's not really a fake thing, it's still seafood.... but the fish they use mimics the same texture and sweetness as crab meat.
