Pie Recipes

Easy pie recipes are one of my favorite go-to desserts any time of year, but especially after a good holiday meal.

Some of the best pie recipes are served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for good measure. Like my best apple pie recipe or my classic pecan pie. Grandma's Sweet Potato Pie is another good one that deserves a spot on the holiday dessert table- perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth.

I have a recipe for Amish Pie Dough too, which works really well with most of the pies listed here (unless you need a graham cracker crust). My favorites are an Amish Pumpkin Pie, peanut butter pie and this old fashioned chess pie.

Any of these dessert pies work well after Thanksgiving dinner - as well as any time of year.
