Grandma's Sweet Potato Pie
I have to start with this recipe in honor of my grandma. She made the best southern sweet potato pie.
An old favorite, made by baking sweet potatoes first and finishing by adding some dollops of whipped cream - see the recipe here:
White Pumpkin Pie
It's not often you see a pumpkin pie made from white pumpkin. If you've never tried a white pumpkin pie before you need to.
It's slightly sweeter and milder than the classic pumpkin pie recipe, it's delicious.
Amish Pumpkin Pie
An Amish Pumpkin Pie is a traditional favorite when heading down south. Amish recipes tend to use fewer ingredients and have a simpler process - yet turn out so much better!
See the recipe for a silky pumpkin pie here:
Hint: For all these recipes my homemade Amish Pie Crust can be used. A really easy way to make a the best buttery crust you ever tasted.
If you'd rather use a store-bought crust, I won't judge, promise. They work well too.
Country Apple Pie
This classic southern country apple pie is super simple to make with a few shortcuts that make it even easier.
It's perfect for Thanksgiving!

Amish Peanut Butter Pie
This peanut butter pie is so good and uses just a handful of ingredients.
This rich pie is definitely worthy of making it on to the Thanksgiving dinner table, it always gets rave reviews.
A drizzle of maple syrup can finish it off perfectly.
Old Fashioned Pecan Pie
You can't have Thanksgiving without a classic Pecan Pie. It's tradition, for a lot of people. This old fashioned southern pecan pie is decadent, quick to put together and practically fail-safe.
All that is needed is a big ol' scoop of ice cream.
Old Fashioned Rhubarb Pie
From my friend Deb at Bowl-Me-Over, this old fashioned rhubarb pie takes me back. I love the sweet and sour flavor combo and think a good rhubarb pie is heavenly.
Southern Coconut Pie
This recipe from my friend Marye over at Restless Chipotle is a southern traditional favorite.
A coconut pie as Thanksgiving Dessert is very fitting.
Chocolate Hershey Pie
Who can refuse a delicious piece of Chocolate Hershey Pie?
It's stunning, definitely deserving of a spot on your Thanksgiving dessert table.
Especially for those chocolate lovers out there. You know who you are.
Butternut Squash Pie
A delicious change up from the traditional pumpkin pie. This butternut squash pie has a nutty flavor with a buttery silk texture.
Southern Lemon Pie
A classic fresh southern lemon pie that has been around for centuries. A smooth and silky filling in a graham cracker crust make this an easy option.
No Bake Cherry Pie with Graham Cracker Crust
A delicious and simple no fuss, no bake cherry pie that is still visually stunning, even if it only took 5 minutes to make.
